Farhan Joins Elite 1,500-Run Club After Explosive Knock

Farhan put on a stunning display of batting, smashing 24 runs off just 15 balls to join an elite group of Pakistani cricketers who have scored over 1,500 runs in a single calendar year.

He reached this milestone in his 35th innings of 2025, becoming only the fourth Pakistani to achieve the feat, alongside Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and Shan Masood.

Babar has achieved it three times (2019, 2021, 2024), Rizwan managed it in consecutive years (2021 and 2022), and Shan crossed the mark in 2022. Farhan’s impressive tally this year comes from his performances for Pakistan, Peshawar Region, and Islamabad United, highlighting his remarkable consistency across formats and tournaments.

Earlier on Sunday, Farhan also grabbed attention with a memorable celebration after scoring a half-century against India. He marked the milestone by sending Axar Patel over the ropes for a six and playfully mimicked his bat “firing runs like bullets,” a gesture that quickly went viral among fans.
