Suri Cruise debuts her New York look after changing her name

The daughter of Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise was photographed in New York on Tuesday, May 14, wearing a casual outfit consisting of a t-shirt and loose-fitting trousers.

With her long brown hair down and a thoughtful expression, Suri bore a striking resemblance to her mother in the initial photos released after her new name was revealed.

She seemed absorbed in the music coming from her headphones as she strolled through the busy streets of New York City, her denim coat slung loosely over her arm.

Her journey comes soon after it was revealed that Suri has chosen to drop her last name, at least when it comes to public appearances.

In the casting notice for her most recent stage play, “Head Over Heels,” Suri Noelle, the 18-year-old, was revealed to have adopted her mother’s middle name.

Given rumors that Suri has been estranged from her well-known father since childhood, it makes sense that she is becoming more like her mother.

Suri has been in the spotlight before, as seen by her previous theatrical performance.

She sang in two of her mother’s movies, “Alone Together,” a romantic drama from 2022, and “Rare Objects,” according to Page Six.

Her only child, Holmes, has been characterized as “very, very talented.”

She said in an InStyle interview from 2022, “I adore her so much. Developing her uniqueness has always been my main objective. to ensure that she is fully capable, strong, self-assured, and herself. and to be aware of it.”

Although Suri has not yet made her college plans public, it is expected that she will start in the fall.
