Ferrari Unveils 1,050-HP Plug-In Hybrid Supercar in Milan

MILAN – Ferrari has taken the wraps off its latest flagship supercar, a plug-in hybrid with four-wheel drive, set to succeed the SF90 Stradale introduced in 2019. The new model, also available as a retractable-top spider, was revealed in Milan on Monday.

At its heart is a mid-rear-mounted 4.0-liter V8 turbo engine delivering 830 horsepower, paired with three electric motors that boost total output to 1,050 HP—50 more than the SF90 Stradale. Ferrari says the car can exceed 330 km/h (205 mph), underscoring its position at the top of the lineup.

Prices start at €460,000 ($540,000) for the coupe and €500,000 for the spider. Deliveries to European clients will begin in mid-2026, with U.S. customers receiving theirs about three months later at higher prices due to tariffs.

The launch comes as Ferrari, led by CEO Benedetto Vigna, prepares to debut its first all-electric car next year. The EV will be unveiled in stages, culminating in a global premiere by spring. Despite this shift, Ferrari insists it will continue building petrol and hybrid models alongside EVs.

The company has kept up a rapid pace of new releases this year. In April, it launched the hybrid 296 Speciale and its convertible version, while July saw the introduction of the petrol-powered Amalfi coupe, replacing the Roma as the brand’s entry-level grand tourer.
