Amna Ilyas threatens to sue "Hum Tum Aur Wo" in court

Actor and model Amna Ilyas, who stars alongside Junaid Khan in the telefilm Hum Tum Aur Wo, took to her Instagram page to voice her opposition to the film’s scheduled theatrical release this Eidul Fitr.

Reiterating that the concept was never planned for the big screen and was always supposed to be a telefilm, Amna remarked, “It’s not a cinema film. I signed a telefilm and had no higher expectations.

Amna made hints that although she could accept the picture being altered while it was being created, she wasn’t ready for a theatrical release because it would be going too far.

“I can’t let this slide, but certain technical elements that were promised to me were changed when I arrived on set.”

Amna emphasized that her position had nothing to do with the caliber of the work—rather, it was about adhering to the script’s essential elements and the film’s original framework. She threatened to file a lawsuit at the end of her piece in the event that the theatrical release proceeded as planned.

Hum Tum Aur Wo also stars Raja Yasir, Saad Khan, and Neni Abbasi in addition to Amna and Junaid. The film, which was written and directed by Noman Khan, follows three friends as they travel around Pakistan.
