Haaland Reacts to Controversial Bryne FK Decisions
Erling Haaland, the Norway striker who has already represented five different clubs by the age of 25, has spoken out after his former club Bryne FK made a surprising move.
Haaland’s journey began at Bryne’s academy in 2005, where he stayed until 2017 before moving to Molde. His career then took him to RB Salzburg, Borussia Dortmund, and ultimately Manchester City.
Recently, Bryne FK announced the termination of contracts for players Axel Kryger, Jens Husebo, and Robert Undheim, a decision that left Haaland visibly frustrated. The club currently sits 14th in the 16-team Norwegian Eliteserien.
In a statement, Byrne thanked the players for their contributions, saying: “We thank them for their commitment to the red and white team and wish them continued success.” No further explanation was provided.
Haaland didn’t hold back on social media. He posted: “Speak out, Bryne FK. What the hell is going on?”
When a follower suggested he get some rest while on national duty, Haaland replied: “Yes, I should, but there is chaos at my home club, and it makes me angry, so now I can’t sleep.”
Norwegian outlet NRK reported that Undheim chose not to comment on the situation but added: “But never doubt that I love Bryne FK.”
Haaland made 16 appearances for Bryne before moving on and has started this Premier League season in style, scoring three goals in three games, even though Manchester City lost two of those matches.
