Hammad Azhar Breaks Silence After Father’s Death
LAHORE – Hammad Azhar has shared a message on social media after the death of his father, senior politician Mian Muhammad Azhar.
In a post on platform X (formerly Twitter), Hammad thanked everyone who offered condolences and attended the funeral. “I am deeply thankful to all who stood with us in this time of grief,” he wrote.
Hammad said he is the only son in his family, with three sisters and two young children. He also shared how difficult the past two years have been, especially for his family. “It is my family, particularly my mother, who have suffered the most,” he said.
Hammad said he wants to stay close to his family during this time of sorrow and support his mother.
Speaking about the legal cases against him, Hammad said they are fake and have no legal grounds. “I have been unfairly targeted,” he said, adding that he will go to court to fight the charges and prove his innocence.
Hammad Azhar appeared in public again after staying out of sight for some time, following the passing of his father at the age of 83.
