Flax seeds

Chia seeds
Chia seeds contain high levels of omega-3 fatty acids and antioxidants, which are crucial for brain function. Their high-fibre property promotes cardiovascular health, which indirectly benefits the brain.
Sunflower seeds
Sunflower seeds are a rich source of vitamin E, a strong antioxidant that protects brain cells from oxidative stress. They also contain choline, which is important for brain development and function. Packed with loads of nutrients, sunflower seeds are actually the fruits of the sunflower (Helianthus annuus). These tiny white seeds are encased in grayish-black shells.
These soft seeds have a mild, nutty flavour. You can roast them to increase their taste or leave them as they are.
Pumpkin seeds
Pumpkin seeds are a full source of zinc, magnesium, copper, and iron, and these are all important for brain health. They are also rich in antioxidants that help protect the brain cells from damage. Pumpkin seeds are a suitable source of healthy fats, magnesium, and other nutrients that enhance heart and bone health. They are also rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids and antioxidants such as selenium and beta carotene. Additionally, they are a high source of iron.
Sesame seeds
They contain sesamin and sesamolin, antioxidants that promote brain function, and lower the risk of neurodegenerative disease. They are also a good source of healthy fats and minerals like magnesium. Sesame seeds have many potential health benefits. For instance, they may protect against heart disease, diabetes, and arthritis. But you may need to eat significant amounts — a small handful per day — to gain health benefits.
Hemp seed
They have an equal ratio of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. They are rich in gamma-linoleic acid(GLA), which has anti-inflammatory properties beneficial for brain health.
Poppy seed
Poppy seed is the seed from the poppy plant (Papaver somniferum). It’s used in cooking. The seed pod contains opium, a source of opiates such as morphine.
These contain calcium, iron, and magnesium significant for cognitive functions. They also contain antioxidants that help protect the brain from oxidative damage.
Quinoa seed
Though technically a pseudicereal, quinoa seeds have high flavonoid content. They are good sources of essential amino acids and nutrients that promote overall brain health. Quinoa seeds are the edible seeds of the Chenopodium quinoa flowering plant, which is native to the Andean region of South America. The seeds are often grouped with cereal grains like oats and barley, but quinoa is actually a pseudocereal, botanically related to spinach and amaranth. Quinoa seeds are high in protein, fiber, B vitamins, and minerals, and are a complete protein source, containing all nine essential amino acids.
