HEC: In the wake of the third wave of COVID-19 HEC announced to go online for selected cities;
On March’10 HEC has declared by a press release that the universities in major cities of Pakistan will close and conduct online classes to prevent the pandemic.
Faisalabad, Lahore, Multan, Sialkot, Peshawar, Gujranwala, Gujarat, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, and Peshawar will follow the HEC guidelines and are restricted to Physical attendance during March’15’2021.
HEC also asked to follow safety guidelines:
Whereas universities will conduct pre-scheduled exams by following the SOPs and Health and safety protocols.

On the other hand; the Education Minister announced that schools will remain open in Sindh and Baluchistan; with 50 percent attendance every day.
According to the details; the announcement has made by the Federal Minister on his Twitter handle.
