After Millie Bobby Brown revealed her bare skin , fans praised her

Since she openly shared a photo of her makeup-free face and discussed her struggles with managing frequent breakouts of acne, Millie Bobby Brown has become extremely popular.

The 20-year-old actress is best known for her portrayal of the superpowered teenage character Eleven in the hit Netflix series Stranger Things. She also has a beauty brand called Florence by Mills.

This week, the celebrity talked candidly about her skin concerns and anxieties on her beauty brand’s social media pages.

The actress uploaded a photo of herself sitting in a car’s backseat. She is betrothed to American model Jake Bongiovi, age 21.

Because her hair was pulled back from her face and she was not wearing makeup, fans could see many red spots on her cheeks and face.

Millie added, “My journey with acne is something very personal to me,” next to the picture. By sharing my story, I wish to inspire you to love and accept your skin at whatever state it may be in. After all, we all deserve to feel confident and at ease in our own flesh.”

She answered a range of questions from her followers on cosmetics and skin care during a Q&A session on Instagram Stories. “How do you stay confident in your own skin when you’re having a breakout?” asked a fan. “Knowing that breakouts are temporary moments in life and that this shall eventually pass,” Millie retorted. One of the most liberating emotions is to love and accept who you are, no matter what.

“Any advice for those who feel insecure because of acne?” inquired another. “Remember to be kind to yourself and know that your breakouts do not define you,” the Stranger Things star retorted. You shouldn’t feel guilty if you get breakouts. When my skin is acting up, I try to keep my regimen uncomplicated and straightforward and prefer days without makeup.

As she continued her tips on beauty care, one of her fans asked how the celebrity hides a spot without making it worse. “I avoid applying any makeup over it when I can to let it breathe,” she retorted. Because our spot-a-spot acne patches contain skin-loving ingredients like salicylic acid and tea tree oil, they are a savior on difficult skin days.

Additionally, she shared her best advice for clearing blackheads, saying, “My go-to trick lately is using our pore power to you deep cleansing pore strips.” I appreciate that each set of strips include pieces for the nose and chin, and that they work really gently to get rid of blackheads.

Fans were ecstatic when the A-list star disclosed her skin issues, and they inundated her Instagram post with words of gratitude and affection. “Thank you for showing this as I had very bad acne growing up and just seeing this photo makes me so inspired,” remarked a touched follower. “Whenever I’m feeling down about my skin, I’ll always remember what Mills said,” commented someone else in the comments section. And another said “love you mills … everyone who reads this, remember your skin is beautiful!”
