Recently, Cole Sprouse discussed his relationship with girlfriend Ari Fournier in an open manner.
The 31-year-old actor gushed over his girlfriend of three years during his appearance on Wednesday’s broadcast of SiriusXM’s Let’s Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa. He also acknowledged that this is the first time he has felt secure enough to be himself in a relationship.
“Almost everything in the past feels like a lesson or a stepping stone to what you’ve arrived at now when real compatibility comes into your life,” he thought.
The former cast member of Riverdale went on to say, “And I think this is the first time in my life where I’ve been so wholly and completely able to be myself in a relationship and I think that is a tremendous testament to her.” He continued, “And I’m not putting any of it on a timetable.”
Cole formerly had a romantic involvement with Lili Reinhart, his costar from Riverdale. Still, in 2020, they parted ways.
He ignited a romantic connection with Ari in 2021.
Despite having been together for three years, they have no plans to get married anytime soon.
Cole stated, “We’re taking it one day at a time.”
In addition, the former child star acknowledged that he and Ari “look up” to host Kelly Ripa and Riverdale co-star Mark Consuelos, who plays Veronica Lodge father Hiram, because they “represent a kind of masculinity and femininity that we both find so admirable.”
