Selena Gomez has a lot going on.
Following the release of two songs, “Love On” and “Single Soon,” the singer, 31, made a hint about a potential “full album.”
In an interview with Rolling Stone that was published on Monday, she hinted to the next record when discussing the two tracks that she had released in the previous year.
“I stand by each of them, without a doubt, but they both stand alone in their messaging,” she remarked.
“I suppose it’s reasonable to state that Single Soon and Love On may not accurately represent the project I’m currently working on,” Gomez hinted.
“They are in spirit, but I’m excited to explore more styles of music,” the former Disney star said. “I think people will hopefully be surprised by the contrast.” I enjoy releasing music that I’m passionate about and adore. I recently made them public, and the entire album will follow.
Since Gomez made a widely shared remark earlier this year about retiring from music, the news has come as a welcome surprise to fans.
She did, however, elaborate elsewhere in the interview: “When it comes to music, it’s not that it’s, ‘No, never.'” I plan to take pauses because I want to give acting my whole attention.
Gomez has been back on the Only Murders in the Building set, where she is filming season 4.
