Chemical Report Rules Out Poisoning in Model Humaira Asghar’s Death
The mystery surrounding the death of Pakistani model and actress Humaira Asghar has taken a new turn as chemical examination reports revealed no evidence of poisoning. The forensic analysis, conducted by the University of Karachi, suggests a strong possibility that Humaira’s death was natural.
According to officials involved in the investigation, nine biological samples were submitted by police for detailed chemical analysis. The results, now received, show no traces of toxic substances, providing a breakthrough in the high-profile case.
Discovery of the Body
Humaira Asghar’s body was discovered on July 8, 2025, after Gizri Police, accompanied by a court bailiff, forcibly entered her fourth-floor apartment in the Ittehad Commercial Area. The action was taken to enforce an eviction order issued over non-payment of rent dating back to April 2024.
The apartment had remained largely unnoticed due to an adjacent unit being vacant until February 2025. Neighbors had reported a foul smell, prompting authorities to intervene. Both the main and balcony doors were locked from the inside, suggesting Humaira was alone at the time of her death.
Parents Allege Foul Play
Despite the forensic findings, Humaira’s parents continue to allege murder and have rejected reports claiming their daughter was struggling financially. The family has demanded a deeper investigation into the circumstances leading to her death.
