ISLAMABAD– Prime Minister Imran Khan has tested positive for coronavirus; Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Health Services Faisal Sultan said on Saturday.
As per details, SAPM in a tweet said that Prime Minister Imran Khan is self-isolating; at home after testing positive.

Imran Khan on Thursday received his first dose of a coronavirus vaccine.
Also, He on the occasion; appealed to the nation to ensure strict compliance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); amid the third ongoing wave of the virus.
Also, Shah Mahmood Qureshi and others nationwide; flooding their prayers for his speedy recovery.

Meanwhile, Pakistan has reported 3,876 COVID-19 new cases; the highest since July 2020 as the number of positive cases has surged to 623,135.
Moreover, The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 13,799 of Coronavirus
- 262,796 in Sindh,
- 195,087 in Punjab
- 78,653 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,
- 50,843 in Islamabad,
- 19,306 in Balochistan,
- 11,483 in Azad Kashmir, and
- 4,967 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Till now the cases are reporting daily. Even with the huge numbers in Pakistan.
Also, Preventive measures have taken including lockdown in many areas of Pakistan.
On the other hand, the Shortage of vaccinations is becoming a challenge to health care providers.
