Biden labeling Putin a “crazy SOB” debases the US, according to the Kremlin

To dissuade the West, Putin authorizes tactical nuclear weapon drills

Joe Biden’s description of Russian President Vladimir Putin as a “crazy SOB” was deemed by the Kremlin to be a part of a failing “Hollywood cowboy” performance. The US president made the comment on Thursday.

The US president said the “crazy SOB” in response to a statement about global challenges, which also included “that guy Putin and others,” the possibility of nuclear war, and the existential threat that climate change poses to humanity.

“It is unlikely that the president of the United States would infringe on the rights of our president, President Putin,” Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov. “But it debases those who use such vocabulary.”

According to Peskov, the comment was “probably an attempt to look like a Hollywood cowboy.” However, I genuinely don’t believe that is feasible.”

Has Mr. Putin ever addressed you with even one expletive word? This has never occurred. As a result, I believe that such a terminology debases America itself,” Peskov declared, calling it an embarrassment to the country.

Some showed less restraint.

Putin’s friend and 2008–2012 president Dmitry Medvedev claimed that “useless old geezers, like Biden himself,” posed an existential threat to humanity. Biden was labeled “senile” and “ready to start a war with Russia” by Medvedev.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova remarked that the next time Biden used the phrase “crazy son of a bitch” he should “try to remember that Americans associate it best with his own offspring, Hunter Biden.”

Russian tabloid Moskovsky Komsomolets said “Biden insulted Putin” while Sergei Markov, a former Kremlin aide, said the Biden remark demonstrates that the West was intensifying its attempt to demonise Putin ahead of the March election.

The largest crisis in relations between Russia and the West since the Cold War has been brought on by the conflict in Ukraine, the passing of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny, and claims by the US that Russia intends to launch a nuclear weapon into space.

Leading diplomats from the US and Russia claim they cannot recall a period when tensions between the two most powerful nuclear powers in the world were lower, not even during the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis.

Following the announcement of Navalny’s death in a Russian prison colony last week, Biden stated that it was “a consequence of something that Putin and his thugs did.” Putin was allegedly attempting to murder Navalny, a claim the Kremlin refuted.

Officials from Russia claim that without waiting for proof, the West hurried to accuse Putin. The West’s response to Navalny’s passing, according to the Kremlin, is inappropriate and unwarranted.

Biden stated in 2021 that he believed Putin was a murderer. Putin claimed that Biden called him afterwards to clarify his remarks.
