With his smash film Oppenheimer, Christopher Nolan dominated the BAFTA Awards 2024 on Sunday at London’s Royal Festival Hall. This year, the film received 13 nominations, taking home seven prizes.
Emma Stone’s five-win film Poor Things, which included an Oscar for lead actress, was another big hit. Throughout this award season, Da’Vine Joy, star of The Holdovers, ruled the supporting actress category.
Numerous movie legends made appearances at the occasion. In addition, Prince William left his comfort zone to attend the event despite King Charles and wife Kate Middleton’s health issues.
