A little while ago, warning sirens were heard in many parts of northern Israel because missiles were launched from Iran. About 10 minutes later, the army said people could come out of the shelters.
Earlier on Monday, sirens went off all over Israel for more than 30 minutes, as the army warned that many missiles had been fired by Iran.
The army said search and rescue teams were working in several areas where missiles had fallen.
Israel’s rescue service, Magen David Adom, said there were no deaths, but some people were hurt while running to shelters and others were treated for anxiety.
Israeli news said one missile hit near Ashdod in the south.
Because of military rules, the full damage from the 11-day war with Iran is not clear. But officials say at least 50 missile hits have happened and 24 people have died so far.
On June 13, Israel carried out major attacks on Iran, targeting its missile and nuclear sites, as well as military leaders.
Early Monday, air attacks between the two countries continued. Iran said it would respond to the powerful bombs dropped by American planes on three nuclear sites over the weekend.
