Iran Slams US For Sticking To ‘Old Policy Of Trump

Trump’s Policy: Iran slams out at the United States of America (USA); for sticking to the old and failed policies of former president Donald Trump said such a tactic would fail to save a nuclear deal.

Moreover,  Foreign Minister of Iran Mohammad Javad Zarif wrote on Twitter that;
the US claims it favors diplomacy; not Trump’s failed policy of ‘maximum pressure,”

“Yet (US Secretary of State Antony Blinken) boasts abt blocking Korea from transferring our OWN money to the Swiss Channel — only used for food & meds,” he added.

“Repeating the same policy won’t yield new results.”

US president Joe Biden; who defeated Trump in the US election of 2020 has given a green signal to resolve the deal that has been largely left in tatters by his predecessor’s decision to withdraw from it in 2018.

According to the reports; the Iran election is expected in June and maybe there is another harder president could elect in Tehran; a US representative said in an interview.

Rob Malley; the State Department point man on Iran said in his statement that,

“We don’t intend to base the pace of our discussions on the Iranian elections, the pace will be determined by how far we can get; consistent with defending US national security interests,”

Also, Biden wants to return back to the agreement of 2015; which ensures to lift the sanctions on Iran,

but this agreement has destroyed by former president Trump, who wants to challenge the economy and sovereignty of Iran.
