Israeli forces attack on Palestinians during Ramadan

Tensions at Al-Aqsa mosque escalated as the Israeli forces attack the Palestinians during the blessed month of Ramadan. Israeli forces fired rubber bullets towards innocent Palestinians at Jerusalem’s Al-Aqsa Mosque on Friday amid rising rage over the eviction of Palestinians from homes on land claimed by Jewish settlers.
More than 200 people have been wounded in clashes with Israeli forces in ‘occupied’ Jerusalem. The clashes started at the Al Aqsa Mosque and many areas in the city. Thousands of Muslims were present on the site for the last Friday prayers of Ramadan. Many Muslims stayed to demonstrate the support of Palestinians facing expulsion by Jewish settlers.

International response to Israeli brutality

Many countries including Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and UAE condemned the attacks and violence. The foreign office of Pakistan in a statement said, “The attacks on worshippers of Al Aqsa mosque during Ramadan is against all humanitarian norms and human rights laws. Pakistan strongly condemns the attacks on the innocent worshippers in Al Aqsa mosque that led to several injuries.”
