Joe Rogan Slams UFC for Promoting McGregors Bus Attack

Joe Rogan Criticizes UFC for Using McGregor’s Bus Attack in Promotions

Famous UFC commentator Joe Rogan has said that the UFC went too far by using a violent moment to promote a fight. He was talking about Conor McGregor’s attack on a bus before UFC 223, which injured several fighters.

Joe Rogan said this moment was later used in UFC ads to promote the McGregor vs. Khabib Nurmagomedov fight at UFC 229. He believes this was wrong and dangerous.

The fight between McGregor and Khabib was already full of anger and personal insults. It ended with Khabib winning and then jumping out of the cage to fight McGregor’s team, causing more drama.

UFC 229 broke records with 2.4 million pay-per-view buys, but Rogan says bad behavior should not be used to sell fights.

He said that while trash talk and rivalries are part of the sport, there should be limits. He also mentioned that, even though he supports McGregor as a fighter, some of McGregor’s actions have been hard to watch.

Rogan believes the UFC should not promote violence that causes real harm or leads to legal problems. He had already spoken against McGregor’s bus attack when it happened, and still thinks it should not be used to sell future events.
