Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s Legal Battle Over Winery Heats Up Amid Allegations of Financial Pressure
LOS ANGELES – The long-running legal feud between Hollywood stars Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie has intensified, with new claims emerging amid their dispute over the French winery Château Miraval.
The former couple, who began dating in 2004 and married in 2014, ended their relationship just two years later when Jolie filed for divorce in 2016. Although their divorce was finalized in 2019, the two remain embroiled in a bitter courtroom battle over the ownership and sale of the winery they once co-owned.
Pitt filed a lawsuit against Jolie after she sold her stake in Château Miraval to a third party without his consent. Jolie’s request to dismiss the case was rejected, and the legal proceedings have since escalated.
According to recent court filings, Pitt has sought access to private messages sent by Jolie, and requested that Alexei Oliynik of the Stoli Group—who acquired Jolie’s stake—be compelled to testify and provide communications with the Maleficent star.
In a new twist, Radar Online has quoted a source close to Jolie stating that the actor believes her ex-husband is attempting to financially drain her. “It’s the last thing I need right now. I’m tired, stressed, and emotionally exhausted. He’s trying to drain me. The time, the energy, the money – it’s all meant to wear me down,” Jolie, 50, reportedly said.
The report also highlighted Jolie’s concern over rising legal expenses, which she fears could affect her ability to maintain the lifestyle of their six children: Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Vivienne and Knox.
The case continues to unfold, drawing widespread attention as one of Hollywood’s most high-profile post-divorce legal battles.
