Karachi: Child Rescued After Attempted Abduction, Suspects Flee
Karachi – In a dramatic turn of events, a young boy named Musa was rescued after suspects attempted to abduct him in a moving vehicle. A passerby who witnessed the incident immediately alerted authorities, prompting a swift response from Madadgar-15 and the city’s motorcycle squad.
On noticing the approaching police, the kidnappers abandoned Musa inside the vehicle and fled the scene. The boy was safely returned to his parents under the supervision of Sir Syed Police Station officials.
This incident comes just a day after another alarming case in the city, where a minor girl named Maira was allegedly abducted from Sector D-2, Hijrat Colony in the Civil Lines area. CCTV footage captured the girl’s elder sister bravely chasing the abductors, who reportedly demanded a ransom of Rs. 1.5 million for Maira’s release. Her father confirmed that despite the sister’s efforts to intervene, the abductors managed to escape with the child.
Authorities are investigating both cases as the city reels from consecutive child abduction attempts.
