Fake Polio Workers Rob Woman in Karachi, Another Major Robbery in PECHS

Karachi – Two women pretending to be polio workers robbed a house in Karachi, police said on Monday.

According to officials, the women knocked on the door of Rana Zubair’s house, saying they needed to give polio drops to the children. Believing them, his wife opened the door.

But once inside, one of the women pulled out a knife and held Zubair’s wife by the arm. The robbers then opened a cupboard, stole gold jewelry weighing two tolas, and took Rs. 15,000 in cash before running away.

Police have filed a case and started an investigation into the incident.

Robbery in PECHS by Fake FIA Officers
In another shocking case, five robbers pretending to be FIA officers stole more than Rs. 130 million from a house in Karachi’s PECHS Block 2 area.

According to police, the group included two men and three women, all wearing burqas. They arrived in a black car at the home of a showroom owner around 3:30 AM.

One of the men wore a fake FIA uniform and showed a pistol to scare the family. The group entered the house and forced the residents to open the bedroom safe.

They stole over Rs. 130 million in cash, 20 luxury watches, a smart watch, nine mobile phones, and two laptops before escaping.

Police are now investigating both robbery cases.
