The weather department has forecasted hot and dry winds from the northwest in Karachi today. Seabreeze likely to be restored in the evening in the city.

“Presently, winds blowing from northwest at a speed of 10 kilometers per hour with 71 percent humidity.”

The Met Office has predicted an increase in temperatures in Sindh and southern Punjab by two to four degrees than the normal temperature in these days. Searing temperatures are also expected in the southern and northern parts of Balochistan.

Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast maximum 44 Celsius temperature at Mithi in Sindh and Turbat in Balochistan. Temperatures could soar to 41 Celsius in Lasbela and Chhore, 40 C in Dadu and Nawabshah districts and 39 degree in Karachi and Thatta today.

Health experts have advised people to avoid strenuous activities during the peak heat hours and to stay indoors as much as possible.
