Juice Vendor Arrested for Sexual Assault of Minors in Qayyumabad
KARACHI – Shabbir Tanoli, a local juice vendor, was arrested on September 11 from the Qayyumabad area following multiple complaints from residents about his alleged crimes.
After completing his physical remand, Tanoli was presented before the Judicial Magistrate South. In a statement recorded under Section 164 of the Criminal Procedure Code, he admitted to the charges.
Police revealed that Tanoli had been sexually assaulting boys and girls since 2016 and had recorded the acts on his mobile phone. Investigators recovered over 100 explicit videos involving minors from his device.
During a court-held identification parade, several victims came forward, shared their testimonies, and identified Tanoli. Following this, the judicial magistrate sent him to jail on judicial remand.
The arrest follows growing complaints from the local community and has sparked widespread outrage on social media.
