Karachi Weather Update: Rain Expected from July 18, Showers Forecast Nationwide
KARACHI – July 15, 2025: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast partly cloudy and humid weather in Karachi today, with the sea breeze having resumed across the city. The maximum temperature is expected to reach 35°C.
According to the PMD, a rain-bearing weather system is likely to hit Karachi starting the evening of July 18, bringing moderate to heavy showers on July 19 and 20.
This system, currently moving from northern regions towards Sindh, is also expected to cause rainfall across other districts in the province. The department has advised citizens to remain alert and take necessary safety precautions.
From July 15 to 17, widespread rainfall is forecast in several parts of the country, including:
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
Punjab
Islamabad
Gilgit-Baltistan
Kashmir
Northeastern and southern Balochistan
Over the next 12 hours, rain, windstorms, and thundershowers are expected in these regions.
