Karachi, Sindh, Could See Heavy Rainfall and Windstorms This Week
Karachi and several parts of Sindh are likely to experience rainfall on Thursday and Friday as a low-pressure system over the Gulf of Kutch brings moist air into the region.
According to the latest weather reports, some areas of the city could face heavy rainfall accompanied by strong winds. Currently, winds are blowing from the northeast at 11 km/h, with humidity levels at 74 percent. The city recorded a minimum temperature of 26.4°C, while daytime temperatures may rise to 36°C.
The southeastern districts of Sindh are also expected to see rain, wind, and thunderstorms, with isolated heavy downpours predicted in Khairpur, Tharparkar’s Mithi, Islam Kot, Nagar Parkar, Chachro, Dhali, Diplo, Kaloi, Umer Kot, Mirpur Khas, Sanghar, Matiari, Tando Allahyar, Tando Muhammad Khan, Hyderabad, Jamshoro, Thatta, Badin, and Sajawal. The wet spell is likely to continue from the night of October 1st through October 3rd.
Residents are advised to stay cautious and follow weather updates as heavy rainfall and windstorms may disrupt normal life in affected areas.
