A teenage girl was raped in Karachi, and the police have filed a case against the unidentified culprits.
On her father’s complaint, the Korangi Industrial Area police station opened a case pertaining to the girl’s rape and subsequent death. As per the complaint, his wife went outside to get vegetables while their 13-year-old daughter and her siblings were at home in Bilal Colony. Upon her return, the wife discovered the girl had been fatally strangled.
According to the police, an autopsy was performed on the body at Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre. Dr. Summaiya Syed, a police surgeon, said that the girl was pronounced dead when she arrived. Her postmortem examination revealed that she had experienced both vaginal and anal sexual abuse.
According to the surgeon, suffocation from a constricted neck, similar to strangulation, was the cause of death. Samples have been gathered for DNA analysis, chemical analysis, and semen serology. According to police, they are looking into the situation from several perspectives.
