Karachi Braces for Humid Spell with Chances of Light Rain
KARACHI — The port city is likely to experience cloudy weather with chances of light rain and drizzle over the next four to five days, according to the Meteorological Department.
This morning, Karachi recorded a minimum temperature of 26.9°C, while the current temperature stands at 30°C. Humidity levels remain high at 81%, adding to the muggy conditions across the city. Winds are blowing from the southwest at around 15 km/h.
The Met Office predicts daytime temperatures will hover between 31°C and 33°C during the coming days, accompanied by persistent humidity.
Meanwhile, monsoon showers continue to lash parts of the country. The highest rainfall was recorded in Takht Bhai, Mardan, with 79 millimeters. Over the next 12 hours, rain accompanied by wind and thunderstorms is expected in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir.
