17 Khawarij Terrorists Killed in Swift Karak Operation, Says Interior Minister
Karak – A decisive joint operation in Karak successfully eliminated 17 Khawarij terrorists, the state-run APP reported on Friday.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi lauded the professionalism and bravery of Pakistan’s security forces in carrying out the operation against the Fitna al-Khawarij group. He said the action thwarted the terrorists’ plans and prevented major threats to national peace and stability.
In a statement, Minister Naqvi paid tribute to the soldiers involved, saying their courage and sacrifices deserve the highest recognition. “I salute the brave personnel who ensured these terrorists met a humiliating end,” he remarked.
The minister also prayed for the speedy recovery of three security personnel injured during the operation, assuring that the entire nation stands behind its armed forces. “The people of Pakistan stand shoulder to shoulder with our security forces. Together, we will not allow terrorists of Fitna al-Khawarij to find refuge in Pakistan,” he added.
Reaffirming the government’s resolve, Naqvi said authorities remain committed to supporting security agencies in their mission to eliminate terrorism and secure lasting peace across the country.
