KP Government Approves Rs500m KP House Project in Haripur
HARIPUR – The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has officially added the construction of a new KP House in Haripur to its Annual Development Programme (ADP), with an initial cost estimate of Rs500 million.
According to a letter issued by the Establishment Department, Rs250 million has been earmarked in the current fiscal year to kick-start the project. The Deputy Commissioner of Haripur has been tasked with identifying suitable state land in Makhnial for the facility.
The upcoming KP House will serve as an official government facility, providing accommodation and administrative services, much like the existing KP Houses in Islamabad and other major cities.
Haripur, located in the Hazara Division of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, is the 14th largest city in the province. Positioned around 65 kilometers north of Islamabad and 35 kilometers south of Abbottabad, the city lies in a hilly plain at an elevation of 520 meters.
