A UAE company has launched the world’s largest yacht made from composite materials.

Gulf Craft’s flagship superyacht, Majesty 175, is 54 meters in length with a beam of 9.6 meters. It was produced in the company’s boatyard in Umm Al Quwain.

With its wood-paneled interior, the sleek yacht was built using composite materials such as carbon fiber and vinyl ester. The shallow draft also enables close beach access.

It has a five-meter infinity pool. It has a lounge that can convert to a sun deck, seven staterooms. Also, it has accommodation for 10 crew members.

Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed launched The yacht. The chairman of Dubai Sports Council, during its world premiere at Dubai Harbour.

The yacht unveiled late last year and it completed a series of sea trials.

Superyachts are luxury vessels that are at least 24 meters long with a professional crew.

Also referred to as megayachts, the vessels have become popular among wealthy tourists during the pandemic.

Chairman of Gulf Craft said the launch indicated the appeal of the country as a major yachting hub.

“Gulf Craft invested nearly four years of effort in building this vessel, quicker than the normal timeframe, despite the challenges of the pandemic,” he said.

Cristiano Gatto Design Studio in Italy designed The Majesty 175’s exterior and interior. While Massimo Gregori of the Yankee Delta Studio developed naval architecture.

Its features include a 5-meter infinity pool at the forward deck and a hybrid sky lounge that can convert to an open sun deck. The pool has a swim-jet system that creates a constant current of water.

The smart layout accommodates seven lavish staterooms and can host a crew of up to 10 members with six large crew cabins and a private captain accommodation.
