United Nations has enlisted multi-Grammy winning singer Beyoncé, Noble Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai and other well-known celebrities for a film. We have also seen Beyoncé and Malala in a Global Citizen Festival in New York City, along with Michelle Obama rallying more than 60,000 fans in support of girls’ education and other major development goals to end global poverty but the film is something new.
The film also includes a performance by Grammy-nominated singer Burna Boy. The film would specifically be targeting the world’s biggest problem such as Global, Injustice, and Inequality. The film’s name is “Urgent Solution for Urgent Times”, as expected. According to the UN, “Nations United: Urgent Solutions for Urgent Times” is a 30-minute film that will broadcast globally, and debut on the UN YouTube channel on Saturday at 9 p.m.
The film promotes measures to take for the COVID-19 pandemic to make our world a better place, to ensure the Gender Equality, to upraise the human rights and how we can work for it, to minimize the injustice, and to cope up with the climatic change. . “The film will take audiences on a dynamic exploration of the times we live in, the multiple tipping points our planet faces, and the interventions that could transform our world over the next 10 years,” said the United Nations.
UN goodwill ambassadors Cheadle and actress Michelle Yeoh and Forest Whitaker are also featured in the film. It is produced by 72 Films, penned and directed by Richard Curtis. UN said Oscar-winning actress Julia Roberts will host a radio broadcast and podcast version of the show. Obviously, these influential personalities are the reason why we’re waiting to watch this film as soon as possible. Although we have seen Beyoncé and many of our favorite singers working in movies but this is something HUGE!
