The representatives of King Charles, the members of the British parliament, and British army officials attended the event.
Notable social and political personalities from all faiths and communities, including the Lord Mayor of Manchester, the Leader of Manchester City Council, councilors, and Greater Manchester Police officers, joined together at the iftar to show solidarity with Muslims. It is a great event to be involved in where multiple communities come together in Manchester,” said Mike Russell, the Chief Inspector of the Greater Manchester Police.
“I just like to thank you for inviting me this evening to this wonderful event. This was my first iftar and I thoroughly enjoyed it,” said Lindsey M Forbes, the deputy commander of Army Headquarters North West.
The event attendees expressed that such events promote interfaith harmony and communal peace among citizens.
