Meghan Markle abandons her acting career to focus on writing a memoir

Acting has apparently taken a backseat for Meghan Markle as she gets ready to pen an explosive autobiography.

PR guru Lynn Carratt stated in an interview with The Mirror that the Duchess of Sussex has no intention of returning to the screen in 2024 “unless the role is as a lead in a Hollywood movie that could be an awards contender.”

The source continued, “I’m sure she enjoyed her time in Suits, she stayed in the show for seven seasons, but life has moved on for her.”

“I believe it is unlikely she would return to a TV show like the one she previously starred,” Lynn said in response to the rumors around Meghan’s potential return to the Suits spin-off. “As an actress, you want to challenge yourself and take on very different roles.”

In 2024, Prince wife “will definitely want to relaunch herself,” according to the PR guru, “but I think that will be as producer of their debut movie Meet Me at the Lake, her charity work and a memoir in 2025.”

Meghan mentioned that she has been working on some intriguing initiatives during her attendance at Variety’s Power of Women gala in November 2023. Meghan is a previous working royal.

“There are a ton of amazing things coming up. Not only am I excited about when we can reveal them, but I’m also incredibly proud of what we’re producing. My spouse is also enamored with it. It’s a lot of fun,” she said.
