MGK Reveals Extreme Diet: “I Eat Just a Couple Times a Week”
LOS ANGELES — In a surprising and candid livestream, rapper and actor Machine Gun Kelly (MGK) admitted to living on an unusually minimal diet, saying he eats real food only a couple of times per week — and otherwise relies on coffee, cigarettes, and water to get by.
Speaking with streamer Adin Ross during a recent Kick broadcast, MGK — whose real name is Colson Baker — said, “I don’t really eat, just do water a bunch,” after being offered a burger cooked by Mike Majlak. While he took a few bites for the sake of the stream, he noted, “Because we’re streaming, and it’s my man’s s–t.”
When asked what he’d typically have for dinner if they weren’t streaming, MGK casually replied, “Probably water.”
The 34-year-old artist, known for hits like Bloody Valentine, elaborated on his eating habits, revealing he eats only “a couple times a week,” with meals usually consisting of “bone broth, kimchi, and sauerkraut.”
“’Cause it has probiotics, you know?” he explained. “When you do those water fasts, the only thing that’s crazy is it kills all the good bacteria in you, too, so you gotta put the pro[biotics] back in.”
Alongside bone broth, MGK said he also drinks celery juice and coconut water, but his most consistent staples remain coffee and cigarettes.
Fans have expressed concern over his health following the admission, though MGK has not publicly addressed the reactions yet.
