The "Venom: The Last Dance" teaser suggests that Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man will make a comeback

The first trailer for “Venom: The Last Dance,” the last movie in the Spider-Man villain trilogy, has been released by Sony Pictures. Returning to the role of Eddie Brock, the journalist who develops a bond with the symbiote to become Venom, is Tom Hardy.

With the tagline revealing that Eddie and Venom are on the run and being pursued by both of their worlds, which leads to a pivotal and terrible decision, Sony has positioned the film as the conclusion.

There’s a lot of symbiote action in the trailer, including a scene where Hardy rides a horse that has been infused with venom. Eddie also has to contend with a large symbiotic alien from Venom’s home planet and government agents chasing him. Juno Temple from “Ted Lasso” and Chiwetel Ejiofor from “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” are starring alongside Hardy in the movie.

Nonetheless, a noteworthy detail in the teaser has greatly excited fans. The appearance of Rhys Ifans, who played the Lizard in “The Amazing Spider-Man,” raised hopes that Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man would at least make a brief appearance in the film.

Sony confirmed “Venom 3” at CinemaCon 2022, building on the popularity of its predecessors. Despite a pandemic release, “Venom: Let There Be Carnage” made $502 million worldwide, compared to the $856 million earned by the first “Venom” movie. Kelly Marcel, who co-wrote the screenplay with Hardy, directs “The Last Dance,” marking her directorial debut. Along with Avi Arad, Hutch Parker, Amy Pascal, and Matt Tolmach, Marcel and Hardy are producers.

Venom: The Last Dance” is set to hit theatres on October 25.
