MrBeast, Salish Matter Join Star-Studded Cast of Upcoming Game-to-Screen Animated Film
In an exciting update for fans of the hit game-to-screen franchise, popular YouTuber MrBeast, 27, and young social media sensation Salish Matter, 15, have been announced as part of the voice cast for the upcoming animated film. They will join returning stars Anthony Padilla and Ian Hecox, reprising their roles as Hal and Bubbles.
The new additions join an already impressive lineup, including Jason Sudeikis as Red, Josh Gad as Chuck, Rachel Bloom as Silver, and Danny McBride as Bomb. The threequel’s expanded cast also features Emma Myers, Keke Palmer, Tim Robinson, Lily James, Marcello Hernandez, Walker Scobell, Sam Richardson, Anna Cathcart, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Nikki Glaser, James Austin Johnson, and Psalm West.
Behind the scenes, John Rice, who previously worked on Angry Birds Movie 2, will direct the film alongside writer and executive producer Thurop Van Orman. Toru Nakahara also serves as executive producer, while John Cohen, Dan Chuba, and Carla Connor are on board as producers.
Originally scheduled for a January 2027 release, the film’s premiere has been moved up to December 23, 2026, giving fans an early holiday treat.
