NADRA to Open Three New Mega Centers in Karachi by March 2026

KARACHI – Pakistan’s National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) plans to open three new mega centers in Karachi’s Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Gulberg, and Surjani Town by March 2026, according to media reports.

The announcement was made by NADRA Sindh Director General Amir Ali Khan during a ceremony at Karachi University. Speaking at the event, Amir Ali Khan said the initiative aims to provide citizens with easier access to services and highlighted the authority’s ongoing efforts to resolve public issues through technology.

“Most NADRA services are now accessible via mobile phones through the Pak-ID application,” he noted, “allowing citizens to complete applications from home, saving both time and effort.” He also encouraged students and youth to help raise awareness about these new facilities.

In August, NADRA simplified the process for obtaining Succession Certificates. Legal heirs can now apply at any NADRA center nationwide, regardless of the location of the inherited property. Previously, applicants had to apply in the province where the property was situated, a rule that often caused difficulties for heirs living elsewhere.

NADRA Succession Certificate Fees (Effective September 2025):

Property valued over Rs 100,000: Rs 20,000

Property valued below Rs 100,000: Rs 10,000

These steps are part of NADRA’s broader effort to make its services more accessible and convenient for citizens across Pakistan.
