Meta Today is CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s 40th birthday, and there are rumors he is partying on his brand-new, ultra-luxurious yacht, Launchpad.
A few days ago, as they departed Florida for the south, Zuckerberg’s $300 million super yacht and his $30 million support ship, named “Wingman,” turned off their automated identifying systems.
Based on publicly available ship-tracking data, the 118-meter mega yacht and its support vessel arrived in Panama on Monday, the day before Mark Zuckerberg’s birthday, as reported by Business Insider.
According to a private jet tracker, the tech billionaire’s aircraft also touched down in Panama on the same day.
Though it’s uncertain whether the tech tycoon is the yacht’s true owner as Feadship, the constructor of the craft won’t “share private information”. But according to a number of other hints, Zuckerberg is most likely celebrating his birthday on board the yacht.
Launchpad has a helipad and a swimming pool on the main deck, according to images of the vessel that are posted on the industry website SuperYacht Times.
The Business Insider claims that the enormous ship has a large gym, a sauna, a cinema room, and enough storage space to hold many cars, making it possible to house up to dozens of visitors and staff members.
Following news of his visit to Feadship’s shipyard in the Netherlands, Zuckerberg was initially connected to Launchpad in December.
The boat, which also has the flag of the Marshall Islands, a US territory where American buyers register their ships, was suggested to have been legally acquired by him in March by yachting bloggers such as eSysman SuperYachts and Autoevolution.
