Netflix Reportedly Ends Deal with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry

Los Angeles, July 26 – Streaming giant Netflix is no longer interested in working with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, according to The Daily Mail.

The couple had signed a big deal with Netflix to create shows and lifestyle content. But poor viewership and a drop in public interest have led to disappointment on both sides.

Meghan Markle recently launched a lifestyle brand called As Ever. She also appeared in a lifestyle show, but it did not do well. The show failed to make it into Netflix’s top 300 most-watched list for the first half of 2025.

Prince Harry’s documentary about polo also had low viewership. Both projects did not met Netflix’s expectations.

Because of this, Netflix is now less excited about continuing its partnership with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Meghan’s new wine business, which includes a Napa Valley rosé, is also struggling to attract buyers.

Experts in Hollywood say the couple is no longer as popular as before. Many people in the entertainment industry are now avoiding them. Some say they are overexposed and no longer exciting to the public.

Analysts also say Meghan’s brand is unclear and inconsistent. They believe her efforts to appear as a relatable lifestyle figure don’t match how the public sees her.

Despite hopes for a fresh start in 2025, the end of their Netflix deal is seen as a major setback for the royal couple.

They also have limited new media projects lined up. Although there is no public fight between Netflix and the couple, it looks like both sides are ready to part ways quietly.
