New School Timings from August 1, 2025
All schools and colleges will follow new timings starting August 1, 2025, after the summer holidays end on July 31.
The new schedule is for primary, secondary, and higher secondary schools, as well as colleges. It includes single-shift and double-shift schools.
🏫 Primary Schools
Single-shift:
Monday to Thursday & Saturday: 8:00 AM – 1:30 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Double-shift:
First shift (Mon–Thu & Sat): 7:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Friday: 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM
Second shift (all days): 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
🎓 Secondary & Higher Secondary Schools
Single-shift:
Monday to Thursday & Saturday: 8:00 AM – 1:30 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Double-shift:
First shift (Mon–Thu & Sat): 7:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Friday: 7:30 AM – 10:30 AM
Second shift (all days): 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
🏛️ Colleges
Morning shift:
Monday to Thursday & Saturday: 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM
Friday: 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM
Evening shift:
Monday to Thursday & Saturday: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Friday: 2:30 PM – 5:00 PM
These timings are set to help schools and colleges manage classes better after the summer break.
