14 family members perish in the Khushab Road accident

A passenger vehicle on Panj Pir Manawan Road in Khushab district on Saturday fell into a ditch, injuring twelve and killing fourteen persons, including nine children.

The people were on their way from Bannu to Soon Valley for work.

The van crashed into a ditch after its brakes failed, resulting in the disaster.

When the rescue workers arrived at the accident scene, they began to administer medical care.

The individuals who perished in the accident and those who were injured all came from the same family.

Of the fourteen people that died, seven were identified: Ishaq, age 14, Omar, age 14, Rahim, age 45, Muhammad Khan, age 40, Aleesha, age 7, Ghazala, age 8, and Gul Rahim, age 5. The identities of the remaining seven were unknown.

Four individuals with minor injuries received on-site medical attention from rescue personnel. Eight more people who had serious injuries were sent to THQ Hospital Naushera.

Mohsin Naqvi, the interior minister, expressed his sorrow over the catastrophe and his sympathies to the families of the departed.

He prayed for the wounded to heal quickly.
