A former employee is suing Kanye for sexual harassment and contract violations

A former employee of controversial rapper and fashion mogul Kanye West is suing him again, claiming he was fired for cause, sexually harassed him, and broke a contract. Rolling Stone reports that Lauren Pisciotta, West’s two-year assistant, filed the lawsuit on Monday.

Pisciotta alleges in the lawsuit that West engaged in sexual acts with her over the phone and sent her explicit texts, including videos. She claims that once, when she was in a private room on his plane, West “trapped” her and made love to her.

Pisciotta claims that she was first paid $1 million a year by West in 2021 to work on the inaugural season of his women’s fashion line, Yeezy. The lawsuit claims that although West first gave Pisciotta permission to carry on with her OnlyFans company, in 2022 he allegedly demanded that she remove her account in return for an extra $1 million.

Pisciotta alleges that West inundated her with pornographic texts and videos after she deleted her OnlyFans account. The lawsuit also claims that Pisciotta was promoted to Chief of Staff for West’s various companies in September 2022, but that she was fired abruptly shortly after, and that her $3 million severance package was never paid.

Apart from sexual harassment, contract violations, and unjust dismissal, Pisciotta is suing West and his Yeezy companies for unpaid wages, fraud, and purposeful infliction of emotional distress.

West has previously been accused of acting in a lewd manner. Several Yeezy staff members revealed to Rolling Stone last November that he had shown a private photo of his ex-wife Kim Kardashian in job interviews and had screened pornographic movies during staff meetings.

West has not addressed the most recent accusations, and his attorney has not yet responded to the BBC, which has not been able to independently confirm that the lawsuit has been filed. The rapper, who has been embroiled in a number of scandals recently, including the breaking of his big Adidas contract due to antisemitic remarks, has admitted to having a “full-on pornography addiction” that “destroyed” his family.
