A mosque teacher who was allegedly involved in the rape of a nine-year-old student was taken into custody by Larkana police on Thursday.
The minor’s father, Baghan Chandio, claimed that his son and other kids frequently went to the Khalid Bin Waleed mosque, which is close to his home in Larkana City.
The mosque teacher was “red-handedly” exposed by a Baghan family member, according to the FIR. According to the victim’s father, the cleric was also a member of the Chandio tribe and was apprehended by his brother and a cousin as they were attending afternoon prayers at the mosque.
According to Baghan, “He [the teacher] managed to escape.”
The father claimed that following the incident, his kid, who was enrolled in class three of a primary school, suffered from emotional damage.
The father went on to say that the accused’s relatives tried to talk his family out of bringing a lawsuit against him by recommending that they settle the dispute among themselves.
The victim’s father sobbed, saying, “We are under pressure, but we will not spare the man who ruined my son’s life.”
When the incident’s footage became viral on social media, users denounced it and demanded that the accused person face harsh consequences from the authorities.
The man who sexually assaulted a little boy in Muzaffargarh as he was watching Itikaf was taken into custody earlier in April.
The 13-year-old child was allegedly raped by another person who was also observing Itikaf when he was watching it. Following the encounter, the suspect is said to have managed to flee, and the imam of the mosque stated he was threatened with severe consequences.
The survivor was subsequently given a medical examination, and the local police promised that the culprit would be taken into custody shortly.
