Elon Musk acknowledged he has Depression

Regarding Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s usage of ketamine, a medication used to treat depression and pain, Jim Cramer has come out in favor of the businessman.

Musk stated that Tesla’s investors benefited from his ketamine prescription in an interview with Don Lemon on “The Don Lemon Show” on X.

“From the standpoint of Wall Street, what matters is execution,” Musk stated. The owner of X contended that Tesla was worth more than the whole auto industry.

“For investors, if there’s something I’m taking, I should keep taking it.”

The tech billionaire Musk was then criticized by others for using the substance.

The presenter of “Mad Money,” however, defended Musk and claimed that he is being criticized for being transparent.

“It’s unfortunate, really. This man is being ridiculed for acknowledging that he suffers from depression and that he takes a medication that has benefited millions of people.”

He explained his reasoning for supporting Musk by saying, “There are many people who would never be brave enough to admit that they take this drug, and yet this drug is a lifesaver.”

Following Cramer’s endorsement of Musk, the Tesla CEO gave an explanation of his ketamine use.

Musk stated, “I thought ketamine might help people struggling with bouts of depression, which is why I posted about it (at some personal risk).”

He went on to say that ketamine could be a better option than selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs).
