Eugene Lee made his last appearance in the heartfelt video “Love, Eugene,” which was published by the Try Guys a day after they announced the launch of their streaming platform, 2nd Try.
In the 18-minute video, which was posted on May 23, Eugene talks about his departure, his online adventures, and his future goals. He is joined by Zach and Keith in saying a heartfelt goodbye.
Following Zach and Keith’s May 22 announcement regarding impending platform changes, which alluded to Eugene’s departure and promised a thorough explanation, comes Lee’s last Try Guys video.
Zach Kornfeld, Keith Habersberger, Eugene Lee Yang, and Ned Fulmer founded The Try Guys at BuzzFeed. They departed in 2018 to create 2nd Try.
After Ned Fulmer was fired in 2022 due to infidelity, the group encountered controversy, but they carried on as a trio.
Eugene Lee made it clear that he had no problems with the club or the supporters; rather, his decision to quit was based on his desire to focus on other projects and his onerous schedule.
He conveyed his appreciation to his supporters and partners, highlighting their beneficial influence on his path.
Eugene intends to make sporadic cameos, but this is a “clean break” for his mental health.
With his book scheduled for release in 2025, Lee expressed optimism about his forthcoming endeavors, which include a graphic novel series, a first novel, and his directing debut.
Although fans may be disappointed by Lee’s leaving, he is excited to be pursuing his aspirations and joyfully anticipates future reunions.
