Ahmed Farhad Shah, a poet, went missing on Wednesday. The Islamabad High Court ordered his recovery and told the police to bring him before the court tomorrow.
The wife of Shah filed a plea for his recovery, which was heard by Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani. Iman Mazari and Hadi Ali Chatha, attorneys, were the petitioner’s representatives.
During the session, SSP Operations Jameel Zafar made an appearance in court.
The journalist and poet Shah went missing from his Islamabad house last night, the court was informed. Additionally, a copy of the FIR was brought before the court.
According to the authorities, they are looking into the disappearance by looking via adjacent cameras. Judge Kayani questioned Shah’s disappearance’s cause and instructed the police to track him down so he could appear in court the next day.
The police were also forewarned by the court that they would be held accountable if Shah was not found. The hearing has been postponed till tomorrow by Judge Kayani.
