A damaged celebrity. A group seeking vengeance. a tenacious search for justice. And apparently Pakistani weapons. Although this sounds like the premise of Bollywood’s next major disaster, eyeing its neighbors’ territories with longing, it’s actually a new twist in the scandal involving planned attacks on Salman Khan.
According to ANI, four Lawrence Bishnoi gang members were detained by the Navi Mumbai Police on Saturday for reportedly plotting an attack on Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s vehicle in Panvel. An FIR was filed against 17 individuals connected to the affair, including Goldy Brar, Sampat Nehra, Anmol Bishnoi, and Lawrence Bishnoi.
The shocking part is that, according to “reports,” the suspects who were detained by the police had a plot to obtain weapons from Pakistan, attack Salman, and then escape to Sri Lanka. If not for the interfering police officers, they would have also gotten away with it.
The four people who were taken into custody by the Mumbai Police are Dhananjay, also known as Ajay Kashyap, Waspi Khan, also known as Wasim Chikna, Rizwan Khan, also known as Javed Khan, and Gaurav Bhatia, also known as Nahvi, according to the Hindustan Times. According to the police, the suspects had conducted a reconnaissance of Salman Khan’s home and farm in preparation for the attack. Accused Through a video chat, Ajay Kashyap made contact with Dogar in Pakistan, and the neighboring nation ordered AK-47s and other weaponry.”
Naturally, this raises the question of: who did Salman offend so much that this individual or group, purportedly headquartered in Pakistan, was prepared to provide India with weapons? Furthermore, it is important to stand back and recognize the accused’s admission that, like his on-screen personas, he is so unstoppable that foreign weapons are required to even try to destroy him.
It’s easy to imagine: a man with a wheatish complexion, a prayer cap, and kohl-smudged eyes observes as weapons are loaded on their cross-border voyage to take down the man, who at this point is an entirely present, omnipresent, and exalted Bigg Boss candidate. That kind of reasoning makes about as much sense as Salman’s action scenes in his movies.
Many people would give their lives to defend Pakistan, for bhai. When it comes to followers of the actor-turned-dancer-turned-fashion-icon, there is no shortage. Some people would even sacrifice their lives for a man, dare I say it? Of course, his fans can choose not to say that part of Bhai is in charge.
