Indian lady converts to Islam and weds a man from Sialkot

After becoming Islam, a German Sikh girl of Indian descent got married to a young man from Sialkot.

Zainab, formerly known as Jaspreet Kaur, and Ali Arsalan exchanged vows, as attested to by the Islam acceptance certificate from Jamia Hanafia Sialkot. Kaur is the daughter of Sangara Singh and is originally from Ludhiana in Indian Punjab.

Kaur accepted Islam in Jamia Hanafia Sialkot before getting married, and there she also took on her new Islamic name.

On January 16, Kaur started her religious trip to Pakistan, during which she got married to Arsalan. Kaur, who is also an Indian citizen, was given permission to enter the country only once till April 15.

Jamia Hanafia administrators disclosed that Kaur is among the more than 2,000 non-Muslims who have converted to Islam at their establishment.

According to reports, Kaur and Arsalan met while traveling overseas, and after Arsalan invited Kaur to come to Pakistan, they were married.
