Israel says it killed a commander of Hezbollah in southern Lebanon

In an attack in southern Lebanon on Thursday, the Israeli army claimed to have killed a military commander for Hezbollah.

According to a military statement, the strike claimed the life of Ali Nasser Farran, who was purportedly in charge of Hezbollah’s armaments production.

It did not, however, specify where the commander of Hezbollah was slain.

Hezbollah, on the other hand, affirmed that Farran had died in southern Lebanon, but it did not elaborate on how he died.

An Israeli drone strike on a highway between the southern Lebanon villages of Kafr Dajjal and Nabatieh resulted in one fatality and three injuries, according to an earlier report from the state-run National News Agency of Lebanon.

Amid cross-border attacks by Hezbollah and Israeli forces, tensions have increased along Lebanon’s border with Israel. This is because Tel Aviv is continuing its deadly offensive against the Gaza Strip, which has claimed more than 35,700 lives since last October as a result of an attack by the Palestinian resistance group, Hamas.

The International Court of Justice has accused Israel of “genocide” and ordered Tel Aviv to make sure its forces do not conduct acts of genocide and take action to ensure that residents in Gaza receive humanitarian aid.
